Miró Vermouth joins the Comer Awards Gala: a tribute to gastronomy and storytelling

Last night, the Comer Awards 2025 ceremony, organized by La Vanguardia, brought together the best of the culinary world, food writing, and innovation in gastronomy. For several editions now, Miró Vermouth has had the honor of collaborating with this prestigious event, reinforcing its commitment to vermouth culture and its connection with Spanish cuisine.

This year’s gala recognized remarkable talent: the Special Comer Award 2025 went to Basque chef Andoni Luis Aduriz, honored for his curiosity, nonconformity, and constant contribution to avant-garde cuisine. The C for Science award was given to Dr. Violeta Moizé for her work in nutrition and scientific research applied to gastronomy. The O for Origin award went to Antonia Muiños and Rosa Mirás, for their dedication to local products and sustainability. The M for Vision award was presented to chef Carles Gaig, acknowledging a career that combines tradition, creativity, and emotion. The E for Environment award went to Victoria Torres for her efforts in preserving landscape and viticultural identity. Finally, the Familia Torres Award for Gastronomic Storytelling was given to “Flor de invierno” by Evelyn Megías, for her sensitive approach to connecting literature and culinary culture.

The ceremony paid tribute to those who transform cooking into art, to storytelling as a cultural bridge, and to the professionals who, with talent and heart, create memorable experiences. The gala stood out for its elegant setting, inspiring speeches, and shared emotion.

At Miró Vermouth, we are deeply proud to have been part of this celebration, supporting gastronomic creativity and reaffirming our role as a bridge between the world of vermouth and haute cuisine. We warmly congratulate Andoni Luis Aduriz, Evelyn Megías, and all the award winners of this edition of the Comer Awards. Their work elevates the dialogue between culture, flavor, and storytelling—reminding us that great cuisine goes beyond the plate: it carries history, place, and emotion.
We remain committed to the values of culinary art, local storytelling, and the terroir that inspires us. In every glass of Miró, there’s a spirit of innovation, tradition, and shared celebration.
