At Miró Vermouth, we continue to move forward in the FREEZE-IT-UP project (PA2-010100-2024-8), a research and innovation initiative aimed at improving the vermouth drinking experience through the development of new technological solutions applied to the product.
Recently, our facilities hosted a project follow-up meeting with the TECNALIA Surface Engineering team, a key session to review the work carried out so far, share technical progress and align the next milestones of this joint research. The meeting helped strengthen collaboration between the teams involved and allowed us to continue working in a coordinated way to turn this technological challenge into a reality.
The FREEZE-IT-UP project focuses on the development of advanced and multifunctional coatings designed to help maintain the organoleptic properties of vermouth at the ideal temperature for longer. This line of work aims to contribute to better preservation of the product’s sensory experience, respecting its aroma, flavour and distinctive characteristics, while adding value for the final consumer.
