The passion for the sport of paddle tennis has returned again to Reus by the hand of the Open Reus Pro Paddle, a tournament organized by the City Council together with clubs and sports centers in the city. For the second consecutive year, from Miró Vermouth we actively participate in this city initiative that aims to promote the practice of sport and transmit its values among people of all ages.
As sponsors of the tournament, this Friday March 10 we participated in the inauguration of the final phase and the premiere of the paddle tennis court that has been installed in the central square of the Mercadal of Reus. The facility will host until March 26 both the matches of the competition and parallel activities aimed at schoolchildren in the city and paddle exhibitions.
During the inauguration, the general manager of Miró Vermouth, Pablo Garcia, has collected a recognition by the City Council of Reus for the involvement of the company with the tournament. From Miró Vermouth we want to congratulate the consistory of the city for promoting the sport through initiatives aimed at the whole society and which in turn are a reference on the international scene. The Reus Pro Padel Open acts as a preview to announce the TAU Cerámica Reus Costa Daurada Open, an event included in the World Padel Tour calendar that starts on March 28th.
