Last January, the International Taste Institute recognised two of our vermouths: Vermouth Miró Bianco and the new addition for 2024, Vermouth Miró Rosé.
Vermouth Miró Bianco, characterised by the bitterness of wormwood and gentian with notes of aromatic herbs, sweet spices, and refreshing citrus, was awarded two stars. This is the second highest score in the Superior Taste Awards and highlights the quality of Miró Vermouth’s products.
The new 2024 product, Vermouth Miró Rosé, was also awarded one star. Vermouth Miró Rosé is a fresh vermouth that is ideal to drink with your favourite tonic. It redefines tradition with its unique, contemporary flavour profile, blending the vermouth tradition of Reus with modernity.
Superior Tasting Award
Since 2005, the International Taste Institute has evaluated thousands of products from over 100 countries, cataloguing and identifying the best foods and beverages in each category.
These products are evaluated by an independent jury of over 200 internationally recognised chefs and sommeliers from Le Guide Michelin and Guía Repsol. The evaluation is based on five main criteria: first impression, appearance, aroma, flavour and aftertaste.

Desde 2005, el International Taste Institute ha evaluado miles de productos de más de 100 países distintos para catalogar e identificar los mejores alimentos y bebidas de cada categoría.
Las evaluaciones de los productos en el Superior Taste Awards se realizan bajo un riguroso proceso de cata, avalado por una metodología objetiva basada en los 5 criterios del Análisis Sensorial Hedónico Internacional (estándares AFNOR XP V096A): primera impresión, visión, olfato, sabor y textura, por alimentos, o sensación final, en el caso de las bebidas.
Esta evaluación la realiza un jurado independiente formado por más de 200 chefs y sumilleres reconocidos internacionalmente por Le Guide Michelin y la Guía Repsol.
