Miró Vermouth attended the ProWein 2024 fair, which took place from 10 to 12 March in Düsseldorf, Germany. We participated in the first guided tasting organised by the Food & Wines from Spain (FWS) department of ICEX: the Mediterranean Pride Tasting.
This year’s edition of the ProWein fair featured six guided tastings, and our participation with Vermouth Miró Reserva marked the first time a vermouth producer had taken part. We are very proud to have had this opportunity to be represented at a tasting of one of the most iconic and traditional drinks from our region.
The tasting was led by Almudena Alberca, the first Spanish Master of Wine, who achieved this in 2018. Alberca is one of eight Masters of Wine in Spain and one of 414 worldwide. This is a qualification awarded by The Institute of Masters of Wine, an institution with 70 years of history in the world of wine.
Miró Reserva Vermouth
Described by sommelier Almudena Alberca as elegant and sober with its own personality, our Reserva vermouth is also rich, velvety and complex with very distinctive and innovative notes.
Vermouth Miró Reserva is made according to the Miró family’s traditional recipe. It is aged using the ‘soleras’ method and bottled after a long maceration process involving a wide variety of natural herbs, which are combined to create its unique flavour. The colour, aroma and flavour of the vermouth are the result of this formula and process.
