Miró Vermouth, Official Vermouth of Parada Torres, the New Gastronomic Concept by the Torres Brothers at Santa Caterina Market

At Miró Vermouth, we enjoy being part of projects that share our values: quality, tradition, proximity and a passion for gastronomy. That is why we are especially proud to announce that we are the official vermouth of Parada Torres, the new gastronomic concept created by the Torres Brothers at Barcelona’s Santa Caterina Market.

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to attend the inauguration event of this new venue, a special gathering that brought together professionals from the gastronomic sector, hospitality experts and representatives from various food and beverage companies.

Parada Torres is much more than a new restaurant. It is a project full of meaning for brothers Sergio and Javier Torres, who wanted to pay tribute to their roots by opening a space in Santa Caterina Market, a place closely linked to their personal history. The venue occupies several market stalls and offers high-quality, approachable and accessible cuisine inspired by the tradition of classic market bars.

For us, this collaboration strengthens a relationship that goes far beyond the simple pairing of gastronomy and vermouth. For years, we have worked alongside renowned culinary professionals who share our vision of product quality, local heritage and gastronomic experiences.

Miró Vermouth’s connection with gastronomy is an essential part of our identity. One of the most notable examples is our collaboration with chef Paco Pérez in the development of Miró Fusion, an innovative proposal that combines our vermouth-making tradition with a contemporary gastronomic vision. This commitment to creativity and innovation continues to shape many of the projects we undertake.

More recently, we also had the opportunity to participate in Sabor Salou, where attendees enjoyed dishes created by chef Pep Moreno, from the Deliranto restaurant, paired with different Miró Vermouth references. This experience once again demonstrated the great potential of vermouth as a gastronomic ingredient, capable of complementing and enhancing top-level culinary creations.

Our presence at Parada Torres represents another step forward on this journey. Sharing space with a project led by two of the most acclaimed chefs in the gastronomic world is both an honour and an opportunity to continue bringing vermouth culture to new audiences.

Furthermore, this collaboration allows us to strengthen our presence in one of Barcelona’s most iconic markets, a place where gastronomy, local products and tradition come together every day. We firmly believe that vermouth is an integral part of Mediterranean culinary culture and that initiatives like this help preserve and promote it for future generations.
