Miró Vermouth receives support for productive investments from the rural development program of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Miró Vermouth has received the support of the Generalitat de Catalunya in the productive investments made in its production center in Reus. These investments, carried out in the years 2021 and 2022, correspond to the execution of the company’s Strategic Plan in the modernization of production facilities, the construction of a new laboratory and quality area, improvement of equipment and a new storage area for new products derived from innovation.

The funds, coming from the Rural Development Program of Catalonia 2O14-2O2O, are granted between the Department of Climate Action of the Generalitat de Catalunya (DARP) and the European Funds FEADER (European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development), and are intended to help rural areas in their economic development.

The company, since its acquisition by the Reus-based industrial group Masergrup, has invested a total of €1.1M in this project, of which €582,000 were eligible costs in this line of subsidy and will receive a total support of €111,820 (57% direct from the Department of Climate Action of the Generalitat de Catalunya) and 43% from the FEADER budget line. The company has invested more than 3M€ since its incorporation to Masergrup in equipment and facilities improvements and storage and production capacity expansions.

Miró Vermouth’s commitment to constant improvement, adaptation to the company’s needs and a policy of reinvestment for growth is a fact that has helped turnover to double since 2O2O as a result of these investments.
