Pàmies, together with his brother Tomàs, leads the iconic Forn Sistaré, a century-old business that represents tradition and excellence in local artisanal baking. With a team of more than 25 employees across shops and workshop, his career stands for innovation, quality, and a strong commitment to local products.
The collaboration between Miró Vermouth and Xavier Pàmies was born out of the desire to unite two gastronomic icons of Reus and to highlight what they share: passion, tradition, and a dedication to carefully crafted, locally rooted products.
“We share a passion for well-done work, a commitment to the territory, and a drive to innovate without losing our essence,” said Xavier Pàmies, expressing his pride in representing “such an iconic brand as Miró.”
At Miró Vermouth, this alliance is part of a broader initiative to collaborate with prominent local figures who reflect the brand’s philosophy. As Xavier Martínez i Serra, president of MaserGrup—the holding company to which Miró Vermouth belongs—pointed out: “With Xavier Pàmies we share values, roots, and a deep commitment to Reus. This collaboration is yet another step in strengthening our connection with the city and its people.”
With this new partnership, Miró Vermouth reaffirms its commitment to gastronomic culture, local engagement, and alliances with individuals who embody the best of the region.
About Forn Sistaré
Forn Sistaré 1910 was founded at the beginning of the 20th century and is currently run by brothers Xavier and Tomàs Pàmies, the sixth generation of the family to run the business. With a large number of points of sale in Reus and the surrounding area, they work from a totally artisanal perspective in the production of bread and pastries using sourdoughs, long fermentations and high quality flours. Their work has been recognized with several awards, such as the prize for the Best IGP Bread of Catalonia, the Llesca d’Or for the Best Bakery of Catalonia or the prize for the Best Llonguet of Catalonia, among others.
